6/29/2024 Update: QoL + gameplay changes


This update is something I've had in the backburner for a while but have only gotten around to working on recently.

Various gameplay changes

Enemy stats + moves have been adjusted and now ailments are visible for both the enemy and player.
Along with enemy stats adjustments, elemental attacks now have an unique effect associated with them:
Fire:
Causes Burn, which slowly depletes health
Ice:
Causes Freeze, which makes the character's ATB bar fill up slower
Wind:  Quickly act again
Lightning: Causes Stun, which stops the character from acting until Stun is over
Light: 
May raise a random stat of the user
Dark: May decrease a random stat of the target

A new pause menu with an additional options menu

Pressing SHIFT in game will pause the game.
You can adjust the in-game volume and sound with the options menu and change the speed of the game.

UI improvements

Equip menu has been completely revamped. Controls should also hopefully be a lot less finnicky.
Cutscenes can now be skipped at any time with the CTRL key.

Hopefully I can start working on the extra stage + second character soon, fingers crossed.
